Matthew has written plays, short fiction and film. He has devised and directed immersive historical and horror events across Britain at some of its most prestigious sites from The Tower of London to Hampton Court Palace.

He is currently writing the first part in a series of flintlock fantasy novels featuring a broken down, aged swords-master, Miestrano, seeking redemption for the mistakes of his violent and flamboyant youth.

Matthew is happiest by any fireside telling ghost stories…
